!!! All the (virtual) places for Gikii 2021 have been taken, sorry. If you register now we'll add you to the waiting list. The slides will be available via www.gikii.org after the workshop. Thanks for your interest in Gikii, next year why not submit an abstract?
Gikii is an annual workshop on topics at the intersection of law, technology, and popular culture. In 2021, Gikii will be online. Each session will have three or four short presentations (12 minutes max), followed by a panel discussion. The chat will be held under the Chatham House rule. We encourage creative uses of virtual backgrounds, filters, animations, or other online functionality.
You can see a draft schedule here, with presentation titles: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10ffBBFZKRQ5dqkk-H1nnbDzK9FE6ofMr/view?usp=sharing.
Priority for virtual places will go to authors of accepted abstracts, but there will be some places for non-authors. Registration will close on Wednesday July 28th, but it’s possible that all the places will go before then. If you’ve managed to get a place, you’ll get a confirmation email within a day or two with a Zoom link to attend the workshop in September.
